We’ve been trying to come up with a new template to promote products as an affiliate for quite a while now and after looking at a few ideas have created something that has been working well for us of late.
Plus, it seems to ‘please’ the guys over at Google Adwords as it gives them a short, compact landing page with no outrageous promises and with no actual affiliate links. It also has an opt-in form too so you can collect subscribers… and in our tests, Google has been allowing us to do this, even though they are not a great fan of advertisers capturing leads.

In the template, I am linking directly to the order page for ‘The Diet Solution Program’ Clickbank product, the affiliate details of which you can find here:

The way I was doing this was to drop a clickbank cookie when the visitor arrives at the page by dropping a cookie, using the script below, adding it just before the final body tag in the html and replacing the ‘xxxxx’ with my clickbank ID

The links located to the center left of the template when clicked, access the additional content (javascript).. but as you’ll see, everything is located on the same html page for quality score purposes. You’ll see that when you edit the page.

…then I uploaded a ton of articles and other useful content into the autoresponder to continue selling the product on the backend. All of these tools can, again, be found on the affiliates page. (you’ll need to adjust the opt-in form code for your own responder by the way)
You can adjust this template for any ad network and for any market and/or product.. and you could (should) increase the hype if advertising outside of Google, and also add links to the sales page of the product you are promoting, rather than the Clickbank order page, if you so wish.
